Swing Shelter

The Swing Shelter is a public space lowtech installation located in Basel, in front of Kaserne at Keck Kiosk. Our idea was to create an extension of the kiosk, allowing people to be protected from the rain or snow during the advent season. At the same time, the installation - which includes a bench - provides a warm atmosphere for the curious passersby of Kleinbasel. Created and built in one day, the shelter has the particularity of having a swing hanging from the top of the wood structure. The bravest kids are invited to try it.
